1.How do I start the process?

A mandatory 50%-ish deposit is required. I can't tell you how many times good people chat my ear off, get me drawing, and then I never see them again, or its all excuses. If you want it, prove it.
2.What should I do to prepare for the big day?
I will not tattoo if I suspect you are on drugs or alcohol. You can fool your bartender, but you can't fool me.
3.What if I decide I do not like what I got tattooed?
Half the fun of getting tattooed is deciding what you want to get. Don't rush it. I will provide a transfer of your idea on the location so you can 'cess out if it is for you; they can last up to two days. But, once it is applied, it is part of you.

I won't tattoo jerks, and I won't tattoo someone who is only happy when they are unhappy.
4.How do I care for my tattoo?
You follow the care card provided upon completion of your session or download it online. I can't express explicitly enough how important 'aftercare' is. In my opinion it never ends. ie. give up your chain saw juggling act.
5.What if I need touch-ups?
Touch-ups are 'Always' free if I designed and applied the tattoo for as long as I am tattooing...no shit.
If I am touching up some other artists work, it'll cost ya.
6.What if I miss my appointment?
The reason I work by appointment is because it takes time and money to set up a 'field'. A field is a hygenic work area with sterilized equipment.  Each contract is different, it requires specific attention to what gradients/colours I need to make, what furniture or equipment I use that will keep you comfortable (ie. leg, back, bellie, etc.) For this reason, you will be charged $100.00 if you miss your appointment.

There are two reasons for this amount:
1.My time is valuable.
2.It is to discourage you from missing another.

What excludes the fee:
1. Family trauma/death.
2. In the drunk tank.
3. Or a reasonable explanation that is not       
    flighty that can be proven.






1.Do you have an inventory, or catalogued archive of your work?
Yes. Although I am behind in updating some file formats.
Inventory goes quick usually.
2.What are my responsibilities as an owner of your work?
If I sold you a custom piece, and I provide adequate notice; I may want your piece for a gallery showing. The piece will be labelled 'in the collection of' which is enough for people to get the idea that is is not for sale.
3.Will I need to provide a deposit?
If the work to be requires materials I do not keep on hand usually, I may require a deposit.
If I am in a spot of 'starving artist' mode, I may require a deposit.
All deposits are with receipt.
5.What if my fine art piece gets damaged?
I believe art is born, it lives in the world, and then it dies, unless your Michael Angelo.
However, I used to restore art, historic land documents, and photographs for the Glenbow and Tecumseh Military Museum many years ago when 'photoshop' meant a place to go with your photographs. I will try my best to keep it alive for you if you wish 'and' if possible.



1.How much do you charge?
Signage design is $75.00 an hour.
Installation is $95.00 an hour, first hour is flat rated, the rest is on the half hour.
Materials are incorporated into the cost.
Quotes are free.
A deposit is mandatory, usually 50%, with receipt.
2.What warranty do I have?
Over the internet, it is 3 months.
Locally, 6 months.
And if you keep bringing the hot cocoa on a cold day while installing, most likely your warranty will last a lot longer.
3.What if my signage or graphics get damaged due to vandalism or the natural elements?
If you can prove it (take pictures right away and call your insurance company) I will provide a 15% discount on a repro, which will also provide a fresh warranty.
4.What if I don't like what I bought?
It isn't a tattoo, you can remove it with an eraser wheel relatively easy or a bit of WD-40 and a flat edge painters scraper
(for windows) pretty easily. Wood based support structures are a little tougher and will require an experienced sign guy.....me.
5.This isn't a question really:
If you are a jerk, think you are overtly omnipotent with your self devised form of cleverness, or are just plain not very much fun to do work for....I wont.
